Overview

A combination of digital and physical activity, the opportunity to improve skills in both the physical and digital dimensions. Phygital centers represent a new approach to sports. New generation sports grounds, where traditional sports and their digital counterparts are combined in a single space.
Phygital centers include sports grounds with a special coating and a separate area with sports equipment, areas for computer and console games, as well as virtual reality, equipped with modern equipment. All spaces of the phygital center are connected by a single unique gamification system; visitors will be able to track their progress, receive tasks, achievements, participate in tournaments and much more.

Approach

Our cooperation with TeamTim started at the early stage of building MVP. A team of experts maintained the feature-delivery-feedback loop. Sprint based planning allowed us to deliver features quickly, organised and tested.

Tech stack

Frontend developer
- (React native + Typescript) as cross platform framework for android and ios.
- Skia for graphic engine.
- Redux-toolkit for state managing and data fetching.

Backend was developed in Node.js (Nest.js + TypeScript). The system is designed to handle concurrent requests, booking data and being up.

Result

All areas of the Phygital Center are connected by a single, unique gamification system, enabling visitors to track their progress, receive tasks, achievements, participate in tournaments, and much more.

- Booking of sports and gaming areas
- Registration for center tournaments, tracking tournament tables and participant rankings
- Information about upcoming events
- Tracking overall activity level in personal Phygital profile
- Recording achievements and receiving new tasks and advice from active athletes and coaches
